Accio Lacquer's Dragon Egg

As soon as I saw Accio Lacquer's dragon egg I fell in love. She was right, she totally broke the internet. This is the coolest thing to hit the nailpolish world since the holo. They are cheap as chips to make (if you consider using 1/3 of a bottle of nailpolish at one time cheap), and they look great!

Here are some photos of my progress, they're pretty self explanatory. I used her tutorial from start to finish, except I didn't have enough topcoat to do the final coat, and I used no glitter.

Here are my thumbtacks laid out in fine order (not overlapping at all) covered in a coat of black.

Black thumbtacks covered in a coat of Picture Polish - Illusionist. Baby galaxies!

Halfway point. This was so slow. Check out those straight lines and evenly spaced tacks!

The finished product! Check out the new fill line of previously unused Illusionist! This covered about 350 thumbtacks. I'm happy with the sparkly duochrome dragon egg. Khaleesi would be jealous.
