Mode Matte Me Top Coat review

So, if you're in New Zealand or Australia you've probably seen these Mode Cosmetics nailpolishes in pharmacies around. In NZ they're only $5! It's pretty good!

Mode will always hold a special place in my heart for being the polishes that really bumped up my collection. Cheap and amazing colours, I've got a fair few! (11 as of 11/09/13)

Today I have a swatch of Mode - Party Girl. I like it so much. It looks like a creme at a distance, but it's got this beautiful blue shimmer in the light. My camera is pretty potato so it doesn't pick it up. 

Here's Party Girl with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Anti-Chip Topcoat 

 And here it is with Mode - Matte Me Topcoat. I did one layer, then realised I'd streaked it and there were still shiny bits, so I just went over those bits again. I'm really not sure whether I love it! I'm always so distracted by shiny nails though, so maybe these will not be so annoying when I'm trying to do uni work! All in all, for $5 I think this is a great matte topcoat, and I'll be sticking with it!
