Here's another Crumpet Simples post! This one ended up distinctly Christmassy, which I didn't intend! The base is Butter London - Marbs, which is a 1 coater (!) gold metallic. I'm in love. It caught a ridge in my index finger, but all metallic shades are going to do stuff like that. They tend to emphasise any flaws in your fingernails. Here is a photo of Marbs on its own.
Over top of Marbs I used a large dotting tool to do randomly placed dots in Butter London - Pistol Pink, and a-England - Saint George. Unfortunately my lighting doesn't capture the shimmer in either of these shades; Saint George is softly holographic, and Pistol Pink is a shimmer. Here is the first layer of these random dots over Marbs.
Next I chose a small dotting tool and dotted in the middle of my existing dots to create a ring effect with Marbs. I don't particularly like the effect.
