NZ Indie Polish Month: post 5!

It's another Star Kin. Obviously. They're all I have. It's a simple mani using two colours that traditionally go really well together: blue and gold. It was a good excuse to use a brand new Dance Legend that I got a few days ago as well! Win win.
The base is 2 coats of Star Kin - Twilight. This has already been featured in my older swatch fest post. I could have got away with 1 thick coat of this royal blue, but it was a little patchy... 2 coats it is. Here's the base swatch on its own. It has a filter on it because I am yet to get a good camera and lighting set up.

Over the top I did 1 coat of Dance Legend - Aztec 1. This is a gorgeous yellow-gold flake top coat in a clear base. PERFECT. I am in love. I'm pretty sure Dance Legend is the best thing to come out of Russia, since ever. The only downside to putting this coat over the blue is that the holographicness was totally swamped by the flakes. Even in sunlight you can't see the holo anymore! Lessons learned every blog post.
