NOTD: Purple Textured Gradient

Autumn is well and truly on its way here in New Zealand. The days are getting colder and shorter, and clothes are getting darker. I feel like plum purple is a great Autumnal colour, so I cranked out 2 untried colours that I grabbed last month. The main fuschia pink is the beautiful Zoya - Arabella from the Pixie Dust range, and the darker plum is Dance Legend - Amethyst from the Sahara Crystal range. Amethyst is everything I wanted OPI - Vesper to be. I really wish it didn't have those awful contrasting black glitters. Anyway, love this. 

The awesome thing about both these textures is that this is ONE COAT! LOVE THAT! Amethyst is a little blotchy if your coats aren't careful, so on one thumb I had to do 2 coats, but hey, that's okay.

Also, see how I filed my thumb nails into almonds? I wish all my nails were that long so I could file them all to that shape. I am in love. But alas, all my other nails break.
