Nail art March: day 3

Today's prompt was "ombré" which seems to be a controversial term among the nailpolish world, because people use it interchangeably with "gradient". To me, an ombré technique involves putting 5 colours from the same colour family on your hands. One colour goes on each nail. Gradient nails have more than one colour blending into each other.

SO! This is my interpretation. I have only got cremes in shades of brown :/ so here is a brown ombré. On my pinky is 2 coats of Sally Hansen - White On. Ring finger is 2 coats of Mode - VIP. Middle finger is Sally Hansen - Greige. Index finger is 2 coats of Chi Chi - High Heeled Housewife. Thumb is 2 coats of Revlon - Dominate. Most of these could have been 1 coat, but I did 2 to be safe.

The sad part about my nails was that they matched the horrid weather we've been having here in my part of New Zealand. I feel like we skipped Autumn and we full Winter on it.
