Playing with Dope Digits Water Decals

This is hard, okay? Okay. My first issue is my freakin terrible white polish. Sally Hansen - White On just never seems to dry for me! I have to topcoat in between every layer so my fingers aren't a gloppy mess at the end. 

Here's my swatch of White On. There's something simultaneously awesome and hideous about a plain white mani. I'm so on the fence! It's very "check out my 1998 Twink mani, Mum" but it's also very chic and clean. 

Alright, the Dope Digits decals. These are totally dope, for sure. I have had my eyes on them since I stumbled across their Instagram page. So many cool designs! Obviously I got the cat set, and I got the set of letters for another mani later.

My advice to anyone trying these, or other water decals, is to cut as closely to the actual design as you possibly can!!! Otherwise you end up with the clear excess looking a weird greyish colour at the edges. 

And the finale! I did the polka dots with Sally Hansen - Purple Posy which is such an awesome colour! So bold against white too. My grumpy cat thumb looks like it's ear is on fire. Like it's just a comet-head of grump heading to earth ;).
